In this tutorial, I would like to show you how to integrate ActiveCampaign email sync for your ThriveCart customers.
ThriveCart already has ActiveCampaign integration, so why would we do it?
- our awesome customers asked for it and we wanted to make it happen 🙂
- it could be used to add your WP users to a separate list as well for backup or any other reason.
To get started let’s install and activate the ActiveCampaign add-on in your Cart2WP settings panel. You will need to provide 3 information:
- ActiveCampaign API URL
- ActiveCampaign API Key
- ActiveCampaign List ID
If you don’t know how, let me show you, it will only take a minute!
First, open a new browser tab, log into your ActiveCampaign account and go to the Settings / Developer menu:
From here, copy and paste the first two information required into the correct fields at your membership website. Make sure to keep these details private!
Next, go to lists and create / open the list you wish to use to add the new contacts to.
As you will see the List ID is part of the URL! Use this number as the final piece for your integration.
When all three details are provided, any new user created after purchase will be also be sent to the specific list you have chosen for your integration.
